The Shiatsu session is practiced at the horse's living place in a calm and open space. The
first session starts with a conversation with
the owner. This allows the practitioner to
learn about the horse's living context, habits, character, as well as past and current issues.
The session lasts approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
To build the session, the practitioner relies on all the information collected during the interview with the owner, careful observation of the horse, and information obtained from palpation. Based on this, the practitioner can determine the horse's energy level and any energy blockages. The primary goal of the session will be to harmonize the body's energy using pressure techniques, rotations, percussion, and vibrations. The practitioner works on meridians and specific points.
